Terms and Conditions

Registration/Scheduling:
To first time students, email simplekeysmd@gmail.com to schedule a trial class.
Current students/families, you can login to your student portal to see your lessons, email your teacher, make payments, log in practice hours, and view online resources. Email us if you need to login details.
Communication:
All communication will be through email mainly. Teachers will regularly check their emails and respond within a reasonable period of time. You can contact simplekeysmd@gmail.com regarding any scheduling, payment, event, and any other questions.
We ask that text communication is limited to an as needed basis for both families and teachers.
Lesson Formats:
Lessons are offered virtually. Teachers will provide you with the recurring link through email prior to your lesson.
Payment:
All invoices will be sent at the beginning of the month or by semester. You can also access your invoices online in your student portal.
Payments can be made through Zelle, Credit Card, or Venmo.
Missed or Canceled Lessons:
Simple Keys strives to stay flexible with everyone’s schedule and so we ask that families give at least a 24 hour notice if you are unavailable for your scheduled lesson (vacation, out of town, etc). Any canceled lessons will not be charged.
In the event of an emergency cancellation, please let your teachers know as soon as you can. You will not be charged for missing the lesson.
In any case of a no-show or missed lessons without prior communication, please do reach out when you can; however, lessons that are a no-show will be charged.
*Please keep in mind that all students/families receive a 24 hour email and text reminder of their lessons from the online system so teachers will NOT be reaching out on the day of to remind you of your lesson. We have made this rule with regards to keeping in mind the teachers’ time and ask that you arrive on time or communicate ahead of time regarding any changes to the lesson.*
Make-up Lessons:
Make-up lessons are available based on availability. Please reach out to your teacher to determine what works out for your schedules.

Simple Keys would like the studio to be a fun, approachable, and flexible studio for its families and students. We would like to offer our services in the best way possible, and are dedicated to ensuring lessons that motivate its students, and make music an important part of each student’s life.
